Michael A. Murphy, M.D.

Dr. Murphy has clinical expertise in arthroscopic knee, shoulder, and hip surgery, and has a special interest in knee and shoulder replacement. He is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and Orthopedic Sports Medicine, and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.

Joseph P. Nessler, M.D.

Dr. Nessler received his orthopedic training at the Rochester Mayo Clinic. He has a specialty practice in muscle-sparing hip and knee joint replacement as well as revisions. Dr. Nessler joined St Cloud Orthopedics in 1991, and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons as well as American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. Dr. Nessler is a consultant for Stryker Orthopedics, a worldwide leader in orthopedic implants.

Kim S. Schaap, M.D.

Dr. Schaap received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. After a residency with the University of Minnesota’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, she joined our clinic in 1999. Dr. Schaap has a special interest in sports medicine, including arthroscopic knee and shoulder procedures, as well as minimally invasive joint replacements. She is also experienced in robotically assisted joint replacement.

Joel C. Shobe, M.D.

Dr. Shobe received his training at Northwestern University Medical School, the Medical College of Wisconsin, Kansas University Medical Center, and Buffalo General Hospital. He joined our group in 1997. He practices general orthopedics and specializes in cervical, thoracic and lumbar spinal surgery for adult and pediatric patients.

Kristen M. Sigurdson, D.P.M.

Dr. Sigurdson received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. She joined the practice in 2009 and is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Andrew W. Staiger, M.D.

Dr. Staiger specializes in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery. He is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery and also holds a Subspecialty Certificate in Orthopedic Hand Surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He completed his fellowship in Hand Surgery in 2000 at the University of Minnesota, at which time he joined St. Cloud Orthopedics.
